The award recognizes the lifelong learning capability within the Ellucian Student suite, which uses AI to map educational pathways directly to career outcomes. By analyzing market skill requirements and delivering personalized recommendations, the tool allows institutions to move beyond traditional degree structures, supporting students as they reskill or advance their careers.
Laura Ipsen, President and CEO of Ellucian, noted that the technology is designed to make learning more accessible and aligned with the shifting needs of the modern job market. The selection process for the awards was rigorous, with editors evaluating over 1,500 entries based on innovation, design, and societal impact. This year’s list features 191 projects that demonstrate how technology can be applied to address complex global challenges.
