The acquisition marks another step in the growth of the Iselin-based brokerage, which now operates over 250 offices across the United States and the United Kingdom. While financial terms of the transaction remain undisclosed, the move brings the MLR team—known for its local community engagement—under the umbrella of the national firm. PJ Pullia, owner of MLR, noted that the transition aims to bolster the range of protection solutions offered to their existing client base.
Rich Eknoian, founder and executive chairman of World, cited the agency's established presence in Hammonton as a primary driver for the partnership. Legal oversight for the deal was split between Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla, representing World, and Cooper Levenson, acting on behalf of MLR.
