The integration connects Eitan Medical’s Sapphire and Avoset infusion pumps and their Eitan Insights platform with WeInfuse’s clinical and asset-management software. According to Eitan Medical Chief Commercial Officer Roger Massengale, the goal is to create a continuous ecosystem where pump metrics—including start and stop times and rate changes—flow automatically into patient records. This shift intends to mitigate the risk of configuration drift while allowing clinicians to dedicate more time to direct patient interaction.
Beyond clinical documentation, the partnership extends into equipment lifecycle management via WeInfuse’s InfuseTrack platform. The software will pull real-time location data from Eitan Medical’s fleet management system and trigger automatic maintenance alerts. WeInfuse CEO Bryan Johnson noted that this interoperability is designed to improve documentation accuracy and alleviate the burnout often associated with high-volume specialty pharmacy and infusion center operations.
