Avaline Expands Organic Wine Footprint Across Major U.S. Retailers

Avaline is pushing its organic wine portfolio into the mainstream by securing a massive expansion across Kroger, Whole Foods, and Target. The move, which brings the brand’s Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc to 27 states, marks a deliberate effort to capture consumer demand for ingredient transparency in the wine aisle.

At Kroger, the brand is rolling out its flagship Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc across 20 divisions, establishing a presence in 27 states. This move is complemented by a doubled footprint at Whole Foods, where an expanded selection now includes Sparkling wine alongside core offerings. Meanwhile, Target is scaling up its inventory, moving Avaline’s Cabernet Sauvignon into full nationwide distribution to join existing staples like Rosé, White, and Pinot Noir.

CEO Jennifer Purcell attributes the growth to a shifting consumer preference for clarity and organic production methods. Avaline, which markets its wines as free from unnecessary additives, is positioning itself as a leader in the transparency movement. Senior Vice President of Sales Matthew Szura noted that the brand is seeing sustained momentum as it deepens these three retail partnerships. Consumers can find the Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon at Kroger locations for a suggested retail price of $23.99 and $25.99, respectively.
