FOX News Digital Extends Audience Lead as Competitors Falter

For the third consecutive month, FOX News Digital has secured the top spot among all news brands in total multiplatform unique visitors, drawing 165 million users in May. While the network continues to dominate engagement metrics, its primary rival, CNN.com, has slumped to its lowest performance levels since 2015.

According to Comscore data for May 2026, the network maintained its long-standing lead in multiplatform views for the 25th month and minutes spent for the 63rd month. Total engagement reached 1.5 billion views and 3.2 billion minutes. In contrast, CNN.com reported 57 million unique visitors, 456 million views, and 674 million minutes, marking a significant downturn across all tracked indicators.

The network’s dominance extended to social and mobile platforms as well. On YouTube, FOX News outperformed competitors with 338.8 million video views, more than triple the figures of major broadcast rivals. The FOX News mobile app also saw double the unique users of the CNN app, attracting 6.2 million viewers. Social media engagement remained a primary driver of traffic, with 79.5 million interactions recorded across Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok, marking the 141st consecutive month of leadership in this category.
