The expansion introduces branded kiosks featuring immersive merchandising and specialized fixtures designed to showcase licensed sports and lifestyle headwear. Beyond the product selection, the two retailers are coordinating on visual merchandising and in-store training programs for DICK'S staff to ensure a consistent customer experience.
David Progar, senior vice president of licensed products at DICK'S, noted that the move responds to athletes seeking more diverse ways to represent their teams and personal style. Lids Chairman Lawrence Berger emphasized that the initiative brings their specific expertise directly into the established DICK'S shopping environment. The rollout currently spans multiple states, including California, New York, and Texas, with the full store list expected to grow rapidly over the coming months.
