Actress Brittany Curran Arrested on Public Intoxication Charge

Burbank Police Department officers arrived at the scene shortly before 2 a.m. on October 19. According to a department representative, they encountered Curran exhibiting clear signs of alcohol intoxication. Despite repeated instructions to return to her nearby residence, the actress did not comply, leading officers to book her on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication. She was cited and released several hours later.

This arrest marks the second time this year Curran has faced similar charges. In February, she was taken into custody after arriving at a local police station in an incoherent state. Officers at the time determined she could not safely care for herself and booked her for alcohol intoxication symptoms. These recent legal troubles stand in contrast to her professional work, which includes prominent roles in The Magicians and the 2004 film 13 Going on 30. Last week, she was in Tennessee attending a screening for her new project, The Christmas Heartbeat, appearing alongside cast members including Joey Lawrence and Mick Foley.
