The "Ghostface Forever" panel brought together Ulrich, Lillard, Jamie Kennedy, and stunt performer Lee Waddell to reflect on the Wes Craven film. During the event, the actors traded anecdotes about the production, including a mishap where Ulrich accidentally struck Lillard with a phone. Lillard also highlighted the intense physical demands placed on Neve Campbell during the film's climactic sequences.
While the cast reminisced, news surfaced regarding the death of C.W. Morgan, who died on August 30. Though his role as the father of Billy Loomis was brief, his character’s infidelity with Sidney Prescott’s mother provided the catalyst for the entire franchise's central murder plot.
Beyond the milestone, Ulrich addressed the future of the series, stating that he has no intention of returning as Billy Loomis following the 2023 firing of Melissa Barrera. Ulrich noted that without the narrative arc involving Barrera’s character, Sam Carpenter, his own involvement feels unnecessary. Meanwhile, the bond between the two leads has evolved into a genuine, long-term friendship. Lillard recently leveraged this connection to advocate for Ulrich’s casting in the upcoming "Five Nights at Freddy’s 2," assuring the production team that his former co-star is a consummate professional and a "dream" to work with.
