Blackbaud CEO Mike Gianoni Joins Geospatial Firm NGS as Advisor

For the past seventeen years, NGS has primarily functioned as an engineering firm, developing secure, interoperable systems for defense and government clients. The company is now pivoting toward proprietary software products, including its open-source CoreSpatial platform and a new AI advisory practice designed for commercial operations.

Gianoni, who has spent four decades leading cloud and financial service firms, brings expertise in scaling software organizations. His role involves working directly with founder and CEO Jason Newmoyer to bridge the gap between high-level engineering services and commercial software distribution. While Newmoyer retains his position as CEO, the partnership aims to leverage Gianoni’s experience in organizational growth to expand the company’s market footprint. The leadership team remains unchanged as they begin this transition.
