The blade utilizes a specialized, debondable infusion resin that allows for the separation of reinforcing fibers through reversible chemical bonding. By enabling the recovery of these materials for use in automotive manufacturing and infrastructure, the design effectively shifts wind energy away from a single-use model. The technology also assists international operators in meeting stringent sustainability reporting requirements, such as the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
This development follows a series of circular economy initiatives from the company, including the launch of the TMT82 recyclable thermoset-resin blade in early 2025. To support these materials, CRRC recently deployed a mobile, intelligent processing system. By functioning as a "smart mobile recycling factory," this unit bypasses the logistical hurdles of transporting massive decommissioned components to fixed facilities, allowing for efficient, large-scale processing across various geographic sites.
