By utilizing multi-source sensors to monitor tracks and identify potential failures, the train significantly lowers maintenance requirements. Engineering refinements, including lightweight materials, have reduced the total vehicle weight by 18%, resulting in a 10% improvement in energy efficiency compared to conventional models. The train also features a redesigned interior with panoramic windows and rotatable seating.
Beyond passenger transit, CRRC introduced the VELFORCE hydrogen fuel-cell hybrid locomotive. Rated at 2,000 kW, the unit utilizes a parallel dual-stack fuel-cell system that reaches a 98% hydrogen utilization rate and requires only 20 minutes for refueling. For freight logistics, the company unveiled the MAGIX intelligent flat wagon, which supports a 73-metric-ton load capacity despite a curb weight of just 17 metric tons. These technologies are supported by the AIZOR large AI model, which CRRC is deploying across its research, manufacturing, and maintenance workflows to optimize network efficiency and resource allocation globally.
