The annual awards program evaluated over 100 products, highlighting tools that prioritize safe, purposeful classroom integration. Thea joins a list of established industry leaders, including Canvas and Kahoot!, for its specific approach to student engagement. Rather than providing direct answers, the platform uses adaptive questioning to facilitate active recall and mastery of course material.
For educators, the platform requires minimal integration. A user can upload existing course materials—such as study guides or past exams—to generate personalized practice sessions. Since its inception, the platform has scaled significantly, serving its one-billionth practice question earlier this summer.
