Lemieux et Cie and Métaphores Unveil Fragments in SoHo

The collaboration marks the first time Métaphores, a division of Hermès, has partnered with a designer-led American showroom. Christiane Lemieux, founder of Lemieux et Cie, and Émilie Paralitici, creation and image director at Métaphores, developed the installation based on a shared interest in how weight, density, and texture influence the feeling of a room.

Fragments features a mix of natural and technical fibers, including wool, cotton, and linen, designed to interact with light and create relief through oversized slub yarns and bouclé textures. Throughout the SoHo space, these textiles will drape sofas, benches, and Pierre Jeanneret dining chairs. Beyond the initial exhibition, the fabrics will remain available at the 161 Grand Street location for ongoing upholstery and interior projects.
