Traditional, manual mentorship models struggle to bridge the gap for young people facing systemic economic isolation. By shifting to a scalable, AI-powered platform developed with Thathal Information and Technological Solutions, the nonprofit intends to dismantle geographic and network barriers. The program, supported by Colgate-Palmolive, provides participants with direct access to corporate leaders, career resources, and remote work pathways regardless of their location.
"We are leveraging AI to bring our core mentoring program to 300,000 people globally who have historically been shut out of the networks that open professional doors," said Christie Garton, founder and CEO of 1,000 Dreams Fund. The rollout will proceed in three phases over 36 months, moving from pilot testing to large-scale integration with university networks and corporate partners. Progress metrics will be submitted annually to the Clinton Global Initiative to track the impact on professional mobility for underserved populations.
