The centerpiece of the island's transformation is the Beach Club, designed with a palette of blue, orange, and cream to mirror the surrounding Caribbean landscape. Passengers who secure a day pass—available for booking in early October—gain access to priority tendering, dedicated waiter service, and an all-inclusive beverage program. The club aims to provide a more secluded, high-end experience for those looking to bypass the busier stretches of the beach.
Beyond the club, the cruise line has expanded its infrastructure to accommodate increasing guest demand. A new food pavilion introduces an island-inspired barbecue menu, while existing bars and eateries have undergone renovations. For those preferring active leisure, the island now features four pickleball courts. Upgraded cabanas, refreshed clamshell loungers, and additional daybeds round out the updates. According to Beth Bodensteiner, president of Holland America Line, these investments are intended to modernize the guest experience while preserving the character that has defined the destination for nearly three decades.
