This year’s competition centers on the theme "What's your dream for a cancer-free world?" Participants must have been directly or indirectly touched by the disease to qualify. Submissions are open to a wide range of creative outlets, including watercolor, painting, crayon, and digital photography. The foundation intends to feature selected works on its official greeting cards, distributed to patients and caregivers within the stomach cancer community.
Winners will be selected for both their technical skill and emotional resonance. The Grand Prize recipient will be awarded $200, while other top entrants will receive $100 prizes. According to CEO Amanda Pullinger, the contest serves to bridge the gap between creative expression and the foundation’s medical mission, emphasizing that advocacy is not limited by age. Prospective applicants can review the full submission guidelines and register through the official Debbie’s Dream Foundation website.
