Paratus Energy Secures Petrobras Tender Bid for Third-Party Vessel

Petrobras has confirmed the acceptance of a bid submitted by the Seagems joint venture for a third-party vessel, marking a significant development in the subsea contractor's ongoing tender process. The agreement, which covers contracts scheduled to commence in 2028, remains contingent upon final execution of formal documentation.

The Seagems venture, in which Paratus Energy Services holds a 50 percent stake, secured exclusive access to the vessel through a memorandum of understanding that includes an optional purchase clause. While the tender results for the third-party ship are favorable, the status of the separate bid submitted for the vessel Jade remains unaddressed in the partial update.

Seagems currently operates a fleet of six multi-purpose pipe-laying support vessels, all of which are deployed in Brazilian waters. CFO and Interim CEO Baton Haxhimehmedi indicated that further operational details will follow once definitive agreements with Petrobras are finalized.
