Kavalan and LMDW Mark Decades of Partnership at Whisky Live Paris 2026

Two industry landmarks converge at Whisky Live Paris 2026 as Taiwan’s Kavalan celebrates its 20th anniversary alongside the 70th milestone of French curator La Maison du Whisky. The collaboration marks the occasion with five rare single-cask releases and an exclusive bottling unveiled at the La Grande Halle de la Villette.

The partnership, which spans over a decade, centers on the 2027 Creations Collection dubbed The Anthologists. The five selections—ranging from Oloroso Sherry to Peatist ex-Bourbon casks—feature labels inspired by abstract art and natural textures. These bottles serve as the centerpiece of the LMDW catalogue for the coming year, underscoring the curator’s long-term commitment to the Taiwanese distillery.

Thierry Bénitah, Chairman and CEO of La Maison du Whisky, described the collection as a reflection of the firm’s heritage in scouting exceptional spirits. For King Car Group Chairman YT Lee, the event represents the evolution of Taiwanese whisky on the global stage. To emphasize this origin, the Kavalan booth at the Paris event will be designed to replicate the specific environmental conditions of their Yilan County warehouses, allowing visitors to taste the spirit within an immersive recreation of its maturation space.

The showcase runs from September 26 to 28, 2026, at booth No. 85. Beyond the exhibition floor, the brand will host two masterclasses, including an in-depth session in the Anthology Room on the final day of the event.
