Vinous Icons Returns to Miami with Over 100 Global Estates

More than 100 benchmark wine estates from seven countries are set to descend on Miami this November 12–14 for the third edition of Vinous Icons. The three-day showcase, presented by Capital One, promises a series of walk-around tastings, intimate collector events, and expert-led masterclasses at Bloom at Jungle Island.

The program balances high-profile public tastings with niche educational sessions. On November 13 and 14, attendees can sample hundreds of acclaimed labels while engaging directly with the winemakers. Education anchors the agenda, with Vinous editors Joaquín Hidalgo and Eric Guido hosting seminars that span the Andes, the Pacific Northwest, and the evolution of Italian Sangiovese. Founder Antonio Galloni rounds out the curriculum with an analysis of Sonoma County projects and a focused look at the 2023 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons.

Exclusive collector events serve as the program's foundation. The series kicks off November 12 at Klaw with a "La Festa del Barolo" dinner featuring pours from Elio Grasso, Paolo Scavino, and Vietti. The following day, Charles Philipponnat hosts a vertical tasting of Clos des Goisses at Le Jardinier, highlighting rare vintages including the 1980. Galloni notes that the event aims to bridge the gap between wine enthusiasts and the estates themselves, capitalizing on Miami’s status as a rapidly evolving global wine market. Early-bird tickets for the sessions are currently available through the official Vinous website.
