Ramp Expands Corporate Finance Platform to the UK Market

Ramp has officially entered the United Kingdom, marking the fintech firm's first major expansion outside North America. Supported by a local team in London and regulatory authorization gained through the acquisition of Billhop, the company now offers its integrated spend management and corporate finance tools to British businesses.

The platform, which serves over 70,000 organizations including Shopify and Virgin Voyages, consolidates corporate cards, bill payments, and procurement into a single automated interface. Ramp's arrival in London follows its recent move into Canada and is bolstered by a strategic partnership with Visa to facilitate commercial card offerings across the UK market.

Early adopters in the region are already utilizing the software to streamline operations. ElevenLabs, an AI voice agent platform, reported that Ramp’s automation codes 99% of its invoices and card transactions, saving its finance staff roughly 24 hours each month. Similarly, London-headquartered Attio has adopted the platform to replace fragmented finance stacks with centralized AI-driven oversight.

Beyond standard expense management, Ramp is positioning its tools to address the complexities of modern AI spending. With usage-based costs for AI models climbing rapidly, the company’s new token spend intelligence features aim to provide visibility into expenditures across different teams and projects. This expansion follows a significant growth period for the firm, which raised $750 million in June at a $44 billion valuation, alongside the rollout of new capabilities including stablecoin payments and AI-driven accounting tools.
