The spin-off aims to capitalize on the surging demand for physical infrastructure driven by the artificial intelligence sector. By consolidating power, thermal management, and compute systems, the new company intends to provide specialized support for data centers that require high-speed deployment and significant scale. Revathi Advaithi, current CEO of Flex and the expected leader of Axiom, stated the firm is engineered to address the specific electrical and digital challenges facing modern infrastructure.
Pending final board, shareholder, and Singapore High Court approvals, the separation is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2027. Further details regarding the strategic direction of both companies are scheduled to be presented at an Innovation Day event on November 10, 2026, in Austin, Texas. Upon finalization, Flex and Axiom will function as entirely independent, publicly traded entities.
