Van Persie will serve as the face of the company’s "Car-Free, Carefree" campaign, which runs from September 16 to October 8. The initiative aims to shift urban habits away from automobiles by offering consumer incentives of up to €685. The former Arsenal and Manchester United star, who credits his professional success to consistency and trust in his equipment, will make his first public appearance for the brand on September 19 at SOE Spain.
Central to the partnership is the ENGWE L20 3.0 series, a model featuring torque-sensing assistance and an iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 certification. By highlighting the bike’s technical specs—including full suspension and IoT connectivity—the company seeks to frame e-bikes as dependable tools for daily errands rather than just recreational gear. With a retail network spanning 15 branded stores and over 400 partners across Europe, the brand is positioning its after-sales service as a core component of its reliability promise.
