HawkEye 360 and ERA Partner to Integrate Space-Based RF Intelligence

HawkEye 360 and Czech surveillance firm ERA a.s. have entered a strategic partnership to accelerate the delivery of signals intelligence to European defense sectors. The collaboration merges satellite-derived radio frequency data with passive terrestrial tracking, aiming to streamline mission workflows and enhance situational awareness for allied military forces.

The alliance designates ERA as an international processing partner, tasked with automating terrestrial and maritime radar products generated from HawkEye 360’s global satellite constellation. By integrating space-based geolocation with ERA’s established mission-workflow architecture, the companies seek to reduce the time required to convert raw signals intelligence into actionable battlefield insights.

John Serafini, CEO of HawkEye 360, noted that European defense organizations currently require more integrated methods to navigate complex operating environments. The partnership is designed to bridge the gap between orbital data collection and immediate ground-level application. ERA CEO Ondřej Chlost added that the move responds to a growing global demand for better integration of existing field-deployed solutions with advanced passive surveillance systems.

Headquartered in Pardubice, ERA brings over three decades of experience in electronic warfare and multilateration to the partnership. The joint effort focuses on refining how RF data informs decision-making in high-stakes scenarios, providing defense leaders with a more cohesive view of maritime and land-based threats.
