Arlington Expands Multi-Family Office Footprint to Dallas

The Birmingham-based wealth management firm Arlington is planting a flag in Texas, choosing the historic Old Parkland campus in Dallas for its third physical office. This move marks a strategic expansion for the independent group, which currently manages $16 billion in assets for 84 ultra-high-net-worth families.

Scheduled to open in September 2026, the Dallas location follows the firm’s established presence in Birmingham, Alabama, and Franklin, Tennessee. CEO and founder Ken Polk described the expansion as a natural progression of the firm’s boutique service model, emphasizing that the Old Parkland setting aligns with the company’s focus on human and financial capital growth. Since its founding in 1998, Arlington has maintained a deliberate, organic growth strategy, eschewing outside capital and acquisitions to remain independently owned. The firm operates under a perpetual purpose trust structure, a mechanism designed to insulate its long-term advisory mission from short-term market pressures. With 67 team members and a portfolio spanning public and private markets, legacy planning, and philanthropy, the firm aims to deepen its reach into the Texas market. President Stephen Rowe noted that the region’s status as a hub for entrepreneurship and wealth creation makes it an ideal environment for the firm’s long-horizon approach to family stewardship.
