Skripitsky previously held several high-level positions at the fast-food giant, most recently serving as Vice President and Chief Technology & Operations Support Officer. In her new role at Empire Company—the parent organization behind brands such as Sobeys, Safeway, and Farm Boy—she will oversee the retailer’s technological evolution and operational transformation.
Reflecting on her departure via LinkedIn, Skripitsky emphasized the professional growth she experienced during her decade-plus with the Golden Arches. She noted that the decision to join Empire was driven by the company’s ambitious scale and the opportunity to lead digital integration across its diverse family of banners. Beyond the professional mandate, the move allows Skripitsky and her family to return to Canada. She is expected to work closely with Empire President and CEO Pierre St-Laurent to advance the firm's strategic goals for its stores and customer service infrastructure.
