Ankura Appoints Joanne Taylor as Chief Operating Officer

Taylor arrives at Ankura following a career marked by large-scale operational turnarounds across the technology and consulting sectors. Her new mandate involves sharpening the firm’s day-to-day operations and creating a scalable foundation for the company’s next phase of growth. CEO Kevin Lavin emphasized that Taylor’s background in building organizational discipline is essential as the firm looks to align its operating model with its long-term strategic goals.

Beyond her management duties, Taylor intends to push for a more data-driven approach to corporate services. She previously received recognition as Mentor of the Year from Consulting Magazine’s Women Leaders in Technology. An alumna of Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business, she also maintains credentials from the Harvard Leadership Consortium and the Wharton Executive Education Program. Her appointment comes as Ankura manages a global workforce of more than 2,000 professionals serving clients through complex advisory and risk management services.
