Scage Future Faces Nasdaq Delisting Risk Over Market Value

Nanjing-based Scage Future has received two warning letters from Nasdaq, signaling that the company has fallen below the minimum market value requirements for its listed securities and publicly held shares. The zero-emission vehicle provider now has 180 days to restore its standing to avoid potential delisting from the exchange.

The deficiency notifications, received on August 27, follow a 30-day review period ending in late August. During this time, Scage Future failed to maintain the required US$50 million in Market Value of Listed Securities and the US$15 million minimum for publicly held shares. Nasdaq also noted that the company currently misses the threshold for total assets and revenue standards.

Despite these warnings, the company's American depositary shares continue to trade under the ticker SCAG. Scage Future has until February 23, 2027, to regain compliance by maintaining the required valuation levels for at least ten consecutive business days. Management is currently evaluating options, including a potential transfer of its listing to The Nasdaq Capital Market. This latest challenge compounds existing issues for the firm, which is already working to address previous Nasdaq notices regarding minimum bid prices and audit committee composition, with deadlines approaching in December 2026.
