The collaboration marks a significant expansion for Serve Robotics, which has transitioned from serving a handful of neighborhoods to supporting three of the largest US delivery platforms. Ali Kashani, CEO of Serve Robotics, noted that the integration of new partners like Wonder and Grubhub helps refine the fleet’s intelligence with every completed delivery.
For Wonder, the partnership aligns with broader efforts to streamline customer delivery operations. PJ Poykayil, EVP of Customer Delivery Operations, stated that the robots provide a more reliable and seamless mealtime experience as the company continues to scale. This move follows a massive $650 million Series D funding round for Wonder, which valued the company at $9 billion. Backed by investors including Accel, GV, and ARK Invest, Wonder is currently preparing for an initial public offering slated for 2027 or 2028.
