The company’s U.S. Country Manager, Chris Gu, stated that the initiative is designed to provide a more dependable shopping journey. Central to these changes is the platform's Fast Delivery guarantee, which currently covers approximately 95% of products available to American shoppers. If an order fails to arrive within the specified window—20 days for domestic stock and 30 days for cross-border items—customers are now eligible for automatically approved refunds.
To further reduce friction, AliExpress is streamlining its refund claims process. Shoppers will no longer need to submit extensive documentation for common issues, such as packages marked as delivered but never received or items that deviate significantly from their online descriptions. Additionally, a new in-stock guarantee provides a full refund plus a store coupon if a paid order is canceled due to inventory shortages. Starting August 30, the platform will also implement stricter penalties for sellers regarding order cancellations and inaccurate listings, while expanding direct coordination with delivery partners to provide clearer tracking milestones and proof of delivery for domestic shipments.
