The litigation centers on whether Erasca and its leadership engaged in unlawful business practices or misled shareholders. Investors have until August 10, 2026, to apply to the court for the role of Lead Plaintiff. The controversy began on April 27, 2026, when Erasca revealed a letter from Revolution Medicines, Inc. accusing the company of infringing on U.S. Patent No. 12,409,225. RevMed further alleged that Erasca misappropriated trade secrets and made deceptive comparative claims regarding its ERAS-0015 candidate and RevMed’s RMC-6236.
Market reaction was swift. Erasca shares dropped 10.71% following the patent news. The situation worsened later that day when the company reported preliminary Phase 1 data for ERAS-0015, revealing a patient fatality attributed to Grade 5 pneumonitis. Shares plummeted an additional 48.3% by the close of the following trading day. Pomerantz LLP, the firm representing the class, is currently collecting documentation from affected investors to support the ongoing securities fraud investigation.
