By deploying a flexible system that spans mobile generations from 2G to 5G, the project ensures that the arena remains technically viable as mobile demands evolve. Unlike proprietary networks, this neutral-host solution allows for seamless integration across all UK mobile operators, providing a scalable foundation that can be fine-tuned as event requirements change.

Paul Osborne, Chief Commercial Officer at Boldyn Networks UK, noted that the project aims to bridge the gap between the physical energy of a live crowd and the digital necessity of sharing that experience in real-time. For The Odyssey Trust, which manages the venue, the upgrade represents a strategic shift toward digital-first guest services.
