P&F Products & Features Acquires AVVie to Expand Heart Valve Portfolio

The acquisition integrates AVVie’s specialized R&D infrastructure and intellectual property into P&F’s global manufacturing and regulatory network. Founded by cardiac surgeon Prof. Werner Mohl, AVVie created the AngelValve platform specifically for patients who previously faced limited or no therapeutic options for their condition. By merging these engineering assets with P&F’s commercialization capabilities, the company aims to accelerate development timelines for next-generation structural heart therapies.

Katharina Kiss, MD, CEO of P&F, noted that the move aligns with the firm’s strategy to become a global leader in the sector. Siegfried Einhellig, COO and Head of R&D, emphasized that the synergy of the two teams will be focused on transitioning the AngelValve technology from an innovative concept into a standardized clinical therapy. While the deal consolidates significant expertise in cardiovascular medical technology, the financial terms of the transaction remain undisclosed.
