MOVE and GE Lighting Partner to Integrate Smart Homes with AI Wellness

The partnership leverages GE-branded Cync products to bridge the gap between digital coaching and physical surroundings. By integrating smart lighting scenes, motorized shades, and climate automation, the initiative allows users to trigger environmental shifts that align with their specific daily routines, such as morning energy boosts or evening recovery cycles. Alex Isaly, President of MOVE and AI Digital Experience at Sequel Brands, noted that the collaboration focuses on shaping behaviors through intentional environmental design rather than relying solely on individual willpower.

Craig Spinner, Executive Vice President of Marketing at GE Lighting, emphasized that the environment is a primary driver of how individuals work, sleep, and recover. To incentivize adoption, MOVE members are now eligible for a 30% discount on GE-branded smart home hardware via the company's online store. This integration marks a shift for the MOVE platform, which launched in July to provide AI-led accountability and nutrition guidance, moving its influence beyond the smartphone screen and into the user's domestic infrastructure.
