SeaWorld to Debut I Know What You Did Last Summer Haunted Houses

The Fisherman is coming to Orlando, San Diego, and San Antonio. Starting September 11, SeaWorld will transform its Howl-O-Scream events with a new haunted house experience based on the 1997 slasher film I Know What You Did Last Summer, marking the franchise's first collaboration with a major theme park.

The attraction, titled I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch, recreates iconic scenes from the horror classic, plunging guests into the narrative of a group of friends haunted by a lethal secret. Visitors will navigate environments inspired by the original Southport massacre, facing the vengeful antagonist as they move through the maze.

United Parks & Resorts CEO Marc Swanson described the addition as a milestone for the company’s seasonal programming. Beyond the licensed horror house, the parks will feature their standard array of scare zones, themed bars, and nighttime coaster rides. To drive early attendance, SeaWorld has launched a Killer Summer Sale, offering discounts of up to 65% on event tickets for select locations.
