The new integration layer avoids the common trap of vendor lock-in, enabling enterprises to deploy AI models of their choice across eDiscovery, legal hold, and FOIA workflows. Rather than forcing users into a proprietary ecosystem, the server acts as a bridge that respects the authenticated user’s existing access rights. This ensures that no AI agent can retrieve or modify data beyond what the specific user is authorized to handle, keeping the platform’s Zero Trust security model intact.
Chief Product Officer Pete Feinberg emphasized that the goal is a headless architecture where the platform functions seamlessly alongside a client’s internal tools. Current capabilities allow for the secure retrieval of productivity metrics, custodian reports, and request statuses. As organizations continue to adopt emerging agentic technologies, Casepoint plans to expand the server’s function library to support deeper read and write access, aiming to provide a future-ready foundation for highly regulated government and corporate environments.
