HBX Group Reports Resilient Growth Amid Leadership Transition

HBX Group posted a 12% increase in Total Transaction Value to €2.4 billion for the third quarter of 2026, even as the company navigates the planned retirement of CEO Nicolas Huss. Despite regional conflicts impacting travel corridors, the firm maintained steady momentum through aggressive expansion of its digital ecosystem and AI integration.

The company’s revenue reached €177 million, a 3% dip year-on-year at constant currency, as the firm prioritized long-term market share over immediate margins. Management noted that the ongoing conflict in the Middle East acted as a 4-percentage-point headwind to TTV growth, though booking trends showed a marked recovery toward the end of the quarter. Europe and the Americas served as the primary engines of performance, with the latter seeing a 21% surge in TTV.

Following the retirement of Nicolas Huss on September 30, 2026, current CFO Brendan Brennan will step in as interim CEO. The transition coincides with a period of disciplined capital deployment, including a €100 million share buyback program and the payment of a maiden interim dividend of 7.5 euro cents per share. Looking ahead, the group narrowed its full-year guidance, projecting TTV growth between 13% and 15% as it leans into AI-driven connectivity and strategic acquisitions like the recently completed Bridgify deal.
