The actors navigated the pool deck with the ease of long-time partners, trading jabs and leaning guests back to pour tequila directly into their mouths. This move into tequila marks a significant expansion for the brand, which previously built its reputation solely on mezcal. To ensure quality, the duo partnered with maestro tequilero Julio Cova at Tequilera TAP in Amatitán, Jalisco. Cova, who boasts four decades of experience, emerged from retirement to oversee the production of the new Blanco and Reposado expressions.
Crafting the New Collection
The spirits are crafted from 100% organic Tequilana Blue Weber agave. The Blanco profile highlights earthy, peppery notes with hints of tropical fruit and sage, while the Reposado gains added depth from resting in Four Roses ex-bourbon barrels. Cranston and Paul view these additions as a natural evolution of their portfolio, positioning the tequila as a vibrant, approachable counterpart to the smokier depths of their established mezcal. The Blanco retails for approximately $40, with the Reposado priced at $50.
Choosing OMNIA Dayclub as a launchpad underscored the brand's intent to capture the high-octane Vegas market. The 46,000-square-foot venue at Caesars Palace, designed by the Rockwell Group, provided a festival-grade backdrop for the debut. By integrating themselves behind the bar, the pair secured a headline-grabbing moment that solidified the tequila's arrival in the competitive spirits landscape. For the fans in attendance, the afternoon served as a rare, high-energy reunion of two pop-culture icons, minus the fictional danger but with plenty of agave to go around.
