Vusion, a specialist in AI-driven retail digitization, has signed an agreement to purchase In-Store Media to bolster its connected store platform. While financial terms remain undisclosed, the acquisition is expected to be financed through debt, pending regulatory approval. The move signals a strategic push to digitize the retail environment, allowing brands to monetize physical shelf space with the same precision currently applied to e-commerce.
Fernando de Vicente, CEO of In-Store Media, noted that the partnership will provide the global scale necessary to accelerate in-store retail media capabilities. This expansion coincides with a period of industry recognition for Vusion, which recently secured the 2026 Retail Technology Show Innovation Award. Judges highlighted the company's EdgeSense technology as a critical factor in converging data with physical retail operations, positioning the firm as a key player in the ongoing transformation of how store-wide technology ecosystems function.
