Harry Ridley, Head of Technology at Levy UK and Ireland, described the launch as a milestone in the company’s deployment of automated retail tools. The bar layout prioritizes guest flow, incorporating digital signage and optimized back-of-house infrastructure to handle peak demand. Multi-dispense technology allows staff to restock beer supplies in seconds, while the system’s data analytics enable operators to adjust product mixes in real-time based on specific event trends.
While Amazon has transitioned its own US grocery stores toward Dash Cart technology, the company continues to license Just Walk Out for third-party venues. Recent data shows over 36.7 million items sold through the system globally between June 2024 and May 2025. Industry observers view the shift in Amazon’s retail strategy not as a failure, but as part of an iterative innovation process that has spurred widespread adoption of automated solutions across the global retail sector.
