While Revill has remained tight-lipped regarding his specific professional plans in Australia, his exit comes as Ocado Group continues to expand its international footprint. The company recently secured a deal to build a new customer fulfilment centre for an unnamed European retailer, which will feature the company’s Re:Imagined technology suite, including 600s bots and automated freezer systems. As Ocado pushes forward with these global deployments, the departure of a long-standing leader like Revill signals a shift in the internal landscape for the UK-based engineering team.
