The rollout expands upon a pilot project previously implemented across the Midcounties Co-operative estate. By integrating Conex OS, OurCoop intends to move beyond fragmented monitoring, providing facility teams with a single dashboard to track asset health, improve alarm accuracy, and streamline work order management. LoweConex will provide ongoing professional services to help the retailer identify energy-saving opportunities and extend the lifecycle of its critical store equipment.
Steve Smith, Senior Facilities Manager at OurCoop, noted that the centralized view allows for more proactive decision-making regarding maintenance and energy consumption. Jessica Caldwell, Head of Customer Success at LoweConex, emphasized that for grocery retailers, the ability to normalize data from disparate systems is essential for shifting from reactive repairs to predictive estate management. This partnership highlights a growing trend among UK retailers to leverage connected asset data to reduce operational overhead and ensure consistent store performance.
