The rapper hosted over 20 guests at the historic French palace before moving the celebration to the nearby Airelles hotel. West wore a signature all-black ensemble featuring a face-obscuring mask, while his wife, Bianca Censori, attended in a structured cream satin corset bodysuit paired with a feathered headpiece. The couple’s European excursion follows West’s recent public acknowledgments of his mental health struggles, during which he credited Censori for helping him navigate a severe depressive episode and securing treatment in Switzerland.
Despite the festive atmosphere, West’s professional comeback faces significant friction in Florida. Senator Rick Scott has spearheaded a campaign to block the rapper’s Tampa performances, calling on the Tampa Sports Authority to cancel the shows at the publicly funded venue. Organizers have confirmed plans to deploy protest vehicles around the concert site to address West’s past praise of Adolf Hitler and his public identification as a Nazi. While West issued a statement in January expressing support for the Jewish community and attributing past outbursts to a brain injury, the gesture has failed to quell the resistance, which has already resulted in the cancellation of scheduled appearances in the United Kingdom and Poland.
