Bauducco Opens Massive Manufacturing Hub in Florida

Bauducco has officially launched its largest U.S. manufacturing facility in Zephyrhills, Florida, marking a strategic pivot toward domestic production. The 160,000-square-foot plant doubles the brand's prior American capacity, signaling a long-term commitment to scaling its presence within the competitive U.S. snack food market.

The new facility at 40334 6th Ave represents a departure from the company's traditional export model, aiming to streamline supply chains and shorten lead times for its signature wafer cookies and biscuits. By establishing a direct manufacturing footprint, the family-owned business seeks to capitalize on growing retail demand while maintaining the proprietary baking standards established in 1952. The campus is designed for future expansion, with a potential footprint of up to 1.2 million square feet.

Local officials view the project as a significant economic catalyst for Pasco County. The plant is expected to employ over 600 people at full production capacity, providing a substantial boost to the local labor market. For Bauducco, this investment is as much about identity as it is about logistics. Global CEO Stefano Mozzi has framed the move as a necessary evolution, ensuring the company remains present and responsive to the specific preferences of American consumers. The facility will produce the brand's full wafer lineup under a 'Made in USA' designation, reinforcing partnerships with major retailers like Walmart who are increasingly prioritizing domestic sourcing.
