The company has selected Kinaxis, Microsoft, SAP, and Salesforce as the primary technology partners to replace legacy systems. These platforms will be deployed over the next 18 months with implementation support from Accenture and HCL. The transition aims to grant the company full autonomy, moving away from Unilever-dependent processes to a more agile, independent operating model.
Sandeep Desai, Chief Supply Chain & Operations Officer at The Magnum Ice Cream Company, stated that the initiative focuses on creating a robust digital foundation rather than a simple migration of existing workflows. The strategy emphasizes AI-assisted forecasting and weather-based demand insights to improve decision-making. By integrating these systems, the company intends to enhance visibility and productivity across its international operations, ensuring the business is equipped to scale independently as it moves toward the 2027 deadline.
