Tomorrowland Returns to Shanghai With Expanded Two-Day Festival

The Magic of Tomorrowland is set to return to Shanghai on October 17 and 18, transforming the Hero Dome into an immersive indoor spectacle. Following a successful debut, the event expands to a two-day format, blending electronic music with the festival's signature high-concept production and storytelling.

Held against the backdrop of the Shanghai Bund, the upcoming edition centers on the legendary Planaxis theme. The production relies on state-of-the-art visual effects and stage design to transport guests into a contained, narrative-driven environment. Danny Tang, CEO of Hero Esports, noted that the event aims to push the boundaries of live entertainment by merging local creative influences with the festival's global electronic music heritage.

The lineup features a mix of international superstars and regional talent, with a unique roster of artists performing each day. Beyond the main stage, the venue will host interactive zones, curated culinary experiences, and exclusive merchandise areas. Debby Wilmsen, spokesperson for Tomorrowland, described the return to Shanghai as a key milestone in the brand's long-term expansion throughout Asia, citing the significant enthusiasm from local fans.

Pre-registration is currently open via the INS Land app and WeChat Mini Program. Fans who secure tickets following the official August announcement will be eligible to receive a commemorative Treasure Case prior to the event. The experience is hosted at the INS Land urban entertainment complex, which saw over 4 million visitors in 2025.
