Academy Sports + Outdoors will now supply customers across the South, Southeast, and Midwest, while Blick Art Materials joins the platform to serve shoppers in New York City. The integration of Choice Pet across New York and Connecticut, alongside FedEx Office and Kiehl’s, signals a move to capture consumer demand for non-food items.
Hashim Amin, Head of Retail for North America at Uber, stated that consumers are increasingly viewing the platform as more than a meal delivery service. By diversifying the available inventory, the company aims to provide faster, more flexible access to household needs while offering retail brands a new channel to reach customers.
