The FranklinWH system consolidates battery storage, solar energy management, and electric vehicle charging into a single, scalable platform. By utilizing lithium iron phosphate chemistry, the units can be configured from 15 to 225 kilowatt-hours, controlled by the company's proprietary aGate intelligent interface. This architecture is designed to automate energy flows based on real-time household consumption, meteorological data, and fluctuating electricity prices.
Vincent Ambrose, Chief Commercial Officer at FranklinWH, views the European expansion as a dual-solution strategy. He argues that the needs of utilities for flexible grid resources and the desire of homeowners for lower bills are two sides of the same coin. The firm plans to leverage its experience from over 25 utility-led virtual power plant programs in the United States to facilitate this entry. To support its rollout, the company is currently recruiting distributors and installers at Intersolar Europe in Munich, building on a global network that already encompasses 4,000 authorized partners.
