At the recent Los Angeles premiere of Halle’s romantic comedy You, Me, & Tuscany, Chloe described their relationship as a “safety blanket.” The sisters, who launched their careers as a duo, now find that their independent pursuits make their rare moments of reunion more meaningful. Halle, who portrays an aspiring chef named Anna Montgomery in the film, noted that she leaned into her own experiences as a young woman navigating life to bring authenticity to the role.
Chloe is similarly carving out a distinct acting path. Following her work in Swarm and Black-ish, she is set to appear in the upcoming Peacock thriller Strung. Playing the character Laila, a musician who becomes entangled in a dangerous tutoring gig for a wealthy family, Chloe described the filming process as a spontaneous and unpredictable experience. She noted that she found common ground with Laila, particularly regarding the character’s struggle with impulse control and living in a constant state of fight-or-flight.
Beyond the demands of the script, the project offered Chloe a chance to collaborate with veteran actress Lynn Whitfield. She cited Whitfield’s command of the camera and presence on set as a highlight of the production, marking another step in her evolution as an artist. As both sisters balance their individual filmographies with their musical identities, they continue to rely on the foundation they built together long before their Hollywood success.
