The series follows the professional dynamic between a meticulous agent, Ah-Fan, and his relaxed partner, Xiao Song, as they traverse three distinct landscapes. Starring Huang Xiyan and Wu Ruichen, the narrative weaves through the free-spirited terrain of Dali, the high-energy urban environment of Shanghai, and the coastal atmosphere of Sanya. Each location serves as more than a backdrop, functioning as an extension of the characters' emotional arcs.
Bart Buiring, Managing Director of Luxury for Marriott International in Greater China, noted that the project aims to move beyond traditional advertising by fostering a deeper dialogue between the brand and contemporary culture. By aligning with current viewing habits, the hotel group seeks to integrate its properties into a social-first, narrative-driven format.
This digital campaign coincides with the official debut of The Dali EDITION. Situated at the foothills of the Cangshan Mountains with views of Erhai Lake, the property represents the third EDITION location in the region. The series premiered on June 17, 2026, across Marriott Bonvoy’s official social channels and Fantastic Man platforms.
