Bad Bunny Breaks $1B Touring Barrier Without U.S. Dates

Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny has become the first Latin artist to surpass $1 billion in career touring revenue, an achievement solidified by his ongoing Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour. The milestone places him alongside global acts like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, all while he performs exclusively in Spanish.

The singer, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, reached the $1.08 billion mark across 260 reported shows, selling 6.4 million tickets in total. His current tour has proved particularly lucrative, grossing $360 million from 2.4 million tickets over its first 41 performances. Notably, these figures were achieved without a single concert date in the United States, setting a record for the highest-grossing tour in Billboard Boxscore history to bypass the American market entirely.

This deliberate exclusion of the U.S. stems from political tensions. Bad Bunny cited concerns regarding the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement as a primary factor, noting in an interview with i-D Magazine that the potential presence of ICE agents outside his venues influenced his routing. This stance was echoed during the 2026 Grammy Awards, where he used his acceptance speech for Best Música Urbana Album to challenge federal immigration policies. With 15 dates remaining in Europe, including stops in London, Milan, and Warsaw, the artist’s total revenue is projected to climb further before the tour concludes in Brussels on July 22.
